We told the story of the first day of creation when God said “Let there be light…” We then searched the garden for stars, sun and moon which were displayed on a black cloth, with the wooden flame. In response there were opportunities to make a flame collage and paint using the paint sticks.
The Footsteps families wrote and drew their prayers, thoughts and ideas on the theme of light. Everyone had a candle or star and the chance to design their own.
